What should my punishment be?
So my parents are letting me pick my punishment, but I need help, because I don't want it too be too bad, but also enough so they think they are punishing me.
So what I did to get myself into this mess…
I just graduated highschool so I'm 18, and my family was driving back from a graduation party. We got home at 11 and my crush texted me to hang out at 10. I haven't seen him in a long time and I just wanted to hang out until 12.So from 11-12, one hour, and I would drive myself so they could good to bed. They said no. And I beg and pleaded, offered to do a bunch or chores and not to go out later but it was still no. My parents are very strict usually and I was tired of it because I just graduated and I wanted to have fun! I know I shouldn't have, but I called my friend as she pick me up. I hung out with my crush, and then was back at 12. My parents figured out I was gone at like 11:55 and I was home 5 minutes after. I have never done anything "bad" really before and now my parents are making me choose my punishment. Probably whatever I say will be doubled. I really want to hang out with my crush again this Saturday, so I rather not be grounded. I was thinkin giving up my iphone for a week? But i could still go on the computer? Please suggest something that seems fair, but not outrageous.
Your phone and still have computer?
Do the laundry, cook dinner, clean the house for the week.
I would say, give up your phone. There are so many ways to communicate nowadays other than using your phone, so give up your phone for a few days. It own't be the end of the world.
Honestly, darling you're 18 now. Legally, you don't have to abide by your parent's rules anymore. Of course you do still live until their roof and you have to respect them in that sense, but things such as punishment are things you have finally out grown. Your parents need to realize this, as do you. If you truly believe you should be punished, then I suggest giving up something that they pay for (such as phone, computer/Wi-Fi, etc.) for a week or longer. BUT if it is something that you pay for, the fact that you are 18 years old means you can do with it whatever you please and you do not/should not have to give it up.
No electronics of any kind for a week.
No phone, no computer, no TV, no I-pod, no radio no tablet, or whatever else there's, and no using a friend's phone either.
Your parents did not know if you had sneaked out, or if you had been kidnapped at gun-point, or what. They were very worried about you.

- Who wants a civilized discussion about Animal testing and death by capitol punishment? See details? I feel like a good discussion on those two topics, if you would like an orderly discussion, Add me on Kik or something (If you don't have it, get it on iphone/adroid) it'll be fun, haha. @Max. I know the difference, and I see that I made a mistake. Not the end of the world, sure you have made spelling mistakes before, haha.

- Should I sell my iPhone 4 should I get a 5? Iv been feeling like my iphone 4 is getting outdated. I really want an iPhone 5, but I don't know if I want to sell my iPhone 4. My parents aren't going to buy the phone for Christmas so if I want it I have to buy it myself. Is the iPhone 5 really worth it?
