They can't, however once its reported lost it becomes blacklisted, so the old phone is then worthless.

They don't test anything. They would just blacklist it so it can't be registered to be used on the network.

They know it's difficult to prove how hoisy they are. It might be a minor complaints. But it's so noisy. I try to record and shoot the scene with sounds, also date and time when it happened with iPhone and another camera. However, it's small and different sounds than actual sounds.   • Can they get into the phone if they know the passcode when it's in lost mode? I had an iPhone with a passcode and it and it got stolen by someone I know. But they know the passcode to get in the phone. If the phone is in lost mode, can they still open the phone with the passcode? Or you you have to disable it through Find my IPhone? I won't report this person but I want to make sure they can't use the phone, even if they have it.
