What to do when my iPhone says this constantly?

Ok for sometime now randomly, my iPhone keeps on saying "sim card failure". I turn it off, turn it back on again and 5 min.later, it says the same thing. I know I'm not overheating it but it constantly says that and I can't text nor call anyone unless they have iMessage. Should I go to the apple store?

Yes you should. There's likely a problem with the part that reads the sim card and if your phone is still under warranty (and you haven't done anything to void it) then they should fix it free of charge.

  • Why does my iPhone constantly lose its signal? I have Verizon (6 year customer) and have had my iPhone 4s for 1 year now, however, the past month or so I will be sitting in my house on my phone with 3-4 bars loading a page on the internet or using an app requiring data and I'll just directly go to "no service" (as noted by the small "o" in place of the "3G" icon. Not sure what it is, but my service has been abysmal lately, I've cleared all cache and website data, but nothing seems to be working:/
  • Why does my iPhone 3gs constantly shut down? After it freezes and shuts down i try to turn it back on but the battery goes out and you can't turn it on unless you charge it, i see the apple logo and it just shuts down after
  • My iphone says i'm connected to Wi-Fi but when i try to run something it says i'm not connected? My phone shows signal, it has a check mark by the device but when i try to open an app it says can't find a connection.
  • My iPhone restarts itself constantly? Ever since last night, whether it was plugged in and charging or not, my iPhone restarts itself every 3 minutes or so, whether I'm using it or not. The battery was recently replaced and is fully charged, and I've restored it at least 3 times now, so I feel as though I'm out of options. I also have the latest version of IOS or whatever. Any suggestion?
