I was planning on purchasing a used Iphone 5. I was curious as to what I should know as a consumer when purchasing said item. Such as; things to look out for, information I need to know etc… Thanks.

There are lots of things to look investigate. First make sure it is GSM or compatible to your network. Ask the person to reset to factory setting and remove their passcode if you assigned one to that phone. Make sure you test all of its functionalities/features. If you buy it online… Make sure they have a good return policy so if it doesn't work you can return it.

Ultimately if you can't use it then no worries because all iPhones have a really good resale value and are usually always in high demand.

Used iphone 5 is not good enough compare to what you can get with same amount of budget.
Besides, you lose you warranty.
