What tool or tools do I need to repair my iphone screen?
I was quoted $85 by a repair shop but I'm told I can buy just the screen for a lot cheaper. Of course, I need to be able to replace the old one but not sure how.
Depends on what generation/model iPhone you have as to how easy (or diabolical or even possible) this will be to repair yourself. IMO $85 is a very good price for later model (4/4S/5) iPhone display assembly replacement (you can't just replace the glass on some models because it is bonded to the digitizer and LCD panel). Personally I would rather pay the $85 and get it done professionally. Think of the additional cost if you stuff it up.

I can replace your screen for $39.99. All you need is a lcd screen digitizer and a tool kit. But let me tell you this is no fun! I defiinitley wouldnt suggest you doing this if you don't have a magnetized screw mat. But like i said ill do it for $39.99plus shipping and handiling and $8 for the screen.
