What type of signal do iPhone audio jack accessories use?
So what do they use? A modulated signal like a modem, data pulses, or something else. Is it different for each device? Examples would be a debit card reader or a robot remote (I saw it on think geek).
Plain audio, nothing fancy.
- Type of outlet/cord I need to listen to audio from laptop to iPhone 7 plus? So as you may know, the iPhone7 and onward, have the lightning cable, which has a different mouth to it as well. I'm looking for something (a cord/adapter) in which I can use my iPhone ear buds and plug it into my laptop (which uses headphone jack outlet/mouth). Please give me your recommendations!
- USB/Audio Jack isn't working on my laptop? I think it's when I was carrying it the other day up to my room and my family member opened the door, it caught the side of the laptop bashing it… The USB port for my mouse doesn't work right and the audio socket only plays out of one earphone. It's not the earphones because I tried them on my iphone/ipod. So it's what happened. What can I do about this?
- Something trapped in my iPhone audio jack? I recently had my iPhone in the pocket of a new jacket which I didn't realise had a burst packet of silica beads in it. Now one of them is trapped at the bottom of my audio jack where my headphones go in. Does anyone have any idea how to try and get it out?
- My audio jack in my iPhone 6s isn't working? When I plug my headphones into the headphone jack and try to play music it doesn't work and all you hear is this weird noise, and when I try to watch youtube videos or anything else there's no noise at all. I'm really worried since the iPhone is brand new and I have never had an iPhone before.
