What will ebay do if you falsely sell something and keep the money?

Like if I sell a iphone that is locked and don't say its locked and keep the money…

That could be postal fraud if you used the USPS to conduct business. Other than that, say goodbye to your ebay account.

Would I be sued or go to jail?

They send an ethug to your house and crush your enuts.

Dude, the police will see your question are you fking dumb to post this on this SITE. And, of course you can be sued, if you sell it for let say 500$ , there are 100% changes

They'll refund the buyer, and take the money from your accounts (as you agreed when you signed up for eBay).

They'll also ban you from eBay. And if it looks like fraud (which it should), they'll report you to law enforcement, so you can well be looking at criminal charges.

It's very stupid to intentionally scam people. And you won't be keeping the money before it's all done.

Selling a high dollar item will get a hold placed on your account. You can't touch the money until either the buyer receives it and leaves positive feedback and the tracking shows as delivered or until up to 21 days have passed. They buyer will open a dispute for an item not as described and PayPal will refund their money out of your account. EBay/PayPal do this to keep scammers like you out.
