What will happen if I reset my cellular useage?
I have an iPhone 5 and I don't have a lot of storage left, so I went into settings and deleted some apps, but that barely did anything. There was something that said cellular usage and I clicked on it and it told me I have like 2 GB of received messages. First of all, does this have anything to do with my problem, and second, if I hit the button that says "reset statistics" what will happen?
No it has nothing to do with the phone storage. That's how much cellular data you have used. You can reset it and nothing will change
- Will the MAC address of my iPhone reset if I reset my iPhone to its factory settings over iTunes? I have jailbroken my device and used terminal to change my MAC address so that I could connect to school's Wi-Fi. But when I wanted to change it to its initial number, I typed in a wrong value and it just messed up my Wi-Fi, I can't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Wonder if resetting to factory settings would help…
- When you have Wi-Fi and cellular data on at the same time, does it use cellular data? If I keep my cellular data on and also have my iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, will it use any of my cellular data?
- When I set up a new iphone and reset everything, does it erase cellular data too? I got a Sprint 3G on my iPhone and I want to reset it. If I reset everything, does it erase the Cellular data with Sprint 3G too. Please I need to know so I can set up as new iPhone by using iTunes on the computer.
- What will happen if I reset my iphone? I was going to completely reset my iphone to reset all content and settings. I was wondering if I do this will my network with my phone carrier be reset as well? What I mean is if I reset my iphone completely will my network with my phone carrier (Sprint) still work normally or would I have to go the sprint store and have them reactivate it?
