What will moores law look like in another 40 years?

Yes, I have heard that it is going to break down in another 10 years but if it dosen't, where do you see More's law in another 40 or 50 years into the future? It seems like we have come a long way from the Apple II to the iPhone 5. Also if More's law does break down in another 10 years, what might technology look like then?

And for people who don't know: Moores law refers to the doubling of Transistors every two years.

Why sre you implying it will change or break down?

'The law is named after Intel co-founder Gordon E. More, who described the trend in his 1965 paper.[2][3][4] The paper noted that the number of components in integrated circuits had doubled every year from the invention of the integrated circuit in 1958 until 1965 and predicted that the trend would continue "for at least ten years".[5]'

We're past the prediction period for which More's Law technically applied.
