What would AT&T family plan be like if?
Okay so, my grandmother has an iPhone and no contract. Her pill is around 85$ a month. She was going to change her plan, but she also was going to add me to hers to basically be a family plan.
Overall, she doesn't really use her mobile data, unless she goes on her Lebron James app. (Her plan right now also includes unlimited texting + calls and is free I think after 9 oclock or whatever)
But how much would a family plan be if we both have 2GB for every month with no contract? I went on ATT's site but I'm kind of confused. We both have iPhones too. Just please explain family plan for AT&T please.
Added (1). Woups! I don't know why I was thinking 2GB. I mean 1GB a month
2 GB each or 2 GB total?
2 GB total is $120 a month. $150 for 4 GB. These prices are on contract. Subtract $15 for each phone off contract.
Also Cricket Wireless now owned by AT&T, Charges $90 for 2 phones 2.5 GB of data unthrottled each.
She will have to scrap her current plan and get a family plan. With ATT that means a contract so $100 plus tax a month isn't crazy. Try to shop around to avoid the contract issue if you can. Best luck.
- Would It Cost More To put an extra line on an AT&T unlimited family plan? Well we have been with AT&T for a while, and we still have the unlimited data, unlimited text and unlimited call. So I was wondering if it would cost a lot more to add one an extra line. The plan only has 2 GoPhones and 2 SmartPhones on it. So could one of the GoPhones be replaces my an iPhone? ( GoPhones are $10 a month )
- What would be the average cost per month for a family plan on AT&T? For 2 people with smart phones, one with an iphone and one with a droid, and we would both have the lowest internet cost (I believe its 25 dollars per phone). Also this wouldn't include the actual cost of buying the phones, I'm just talking about per month.
- Sprint Family/Data Plan Okay, so right now I have a family "simply everything messaging" plan that doesn't include data. I'm wanting to upgrade my basic phone to an iphone without changing my whole plan to a family data plan. I saw online the option for adding a data service onto one phone for $15. Does that mean that i can keep my old plan and pay $15 for data a month extra just for the iphone? Or what exactly is the added "data service?" Thanks so Much!
- My family has T-mobile phone service, and i would like to get an iphone 5? So my family has T-mobile phone service, and i would like to get an iphone 5… I don't have Data, I typically just use Wi-Fi. But id like to buy an unlocked iphone 5 off of craigslist specifically for T-mobile service. So what i'm asking is, 1) i know i will need to get a new sim card, but even though i have no data will they still give me one? 2) will i have to pay an iphone service fee each month?
