What would be an easier way to put my pictures from my d5200 to my iPhone?

So I just got a Nikon d5200 and right now to put my pictures on my phone so I can upload them to Instagram, I'm putting them on my computer from the SD card and then emailing them to myself so I get them on my iphone. Is there an easier way?

Don't you know how to use iTunes?

You could move images from the 'pictures' folder in your PC into iTunes and then move the images into your 'Photos' on your iPhone…

… To get the images from the D5200 onto your computer take out the SD card and insert it in your computers SD slot… Copy or move the images to the 'pictures' folder and then make a folder for the images you want to move into iTunes… Open iTunes and 'sync' with the new folder with your 'photos' folder on your phone.

Questions like this really annoy me… You obviously have decent equipment, and haven't taken the time to learn how to use it properly.

Option 1; buy a Nikon Wu1a wireless adapter ($55), which will allow you limited control over your D5200 - including live view on the iPhone, taking a photo, and downloading photos directly to your iPhone.

I have one of these that I can use on both my D7100 and P330. According to the Nikon website, the Wu1a should be compatible with the D5200. There's also an almost identical Wu1b, but it is designed for different cameras such as the D600. At any rate, search on YouTube for Wu1a and you will get an idea how it works. Very worthwhile investment if you need to share your photos.

Option 2: buy a CamRanger ($299) which gives you full control over your camera from your iPhone.

This is probably overkill for your needs, but you should be aware of it's existence. It is kind of like a super-Wu1a.
