What would happen to an old iphone when replaced?
Ok so if I had a 4s, then decided to get a new phone, when I change sim cards, etc, what happens to the old 4s? Do I have to toss it out, or can I just use it as an ipod without call, text, and 4g?
Nothing happens. You can use it as an ipod touch with 911 capabilities. You do have calling and texting if you have an app but you have to be in Wi-Fi but 911 works everywhere. So use it as a 911 device or a Wi-Fi phone which has no bills.
As long as you have you have completed your contact, you can do anything you want. Keep it as a spare phone, sell it, but you will NOT have 3g nor 4G without a valid activated SIM in it. You can use it on Wi-Fi only.
- When my iPhone 6 screen is replaced by apple, will the home button be replaced as well? Ever since I updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 6, the home button has been totally unresponsive.
