What would you do if a girl takes a long time to text?

There's this really pretty girl I met at a summer camp for a week. I have/had a crush on her and she seemed interested and she gave me her # because she wanted to, I didn't ask for it. The camp lasted one week and ended like a week ago I guess. We've been texting (she's really slow, like takes hours or 2 days) and I though asking her out but I eventually gave up because she takes long and I guess she doesn't sound interested anymore. She lives 2 hrs away from me. I'm 15 & she's 16. I'm starting to drive…

Was thinking of calling her and telling her how I feel and ask if she feels the same but our texts are getting nowhere BECAUSE of how long she takes to text. I know I'm going to sound like a douche but even though she is on vacation, there are sometimes when you can go on your phone and text. There has to be one in a time period of 5 days. Yeah I didn't get anything in 5 days.

I don't even think I can ask her on date. I can't just freely drive to her city or at a midpoint. My mom isn't going to take me. I doubt she can drive here (lol would be weird). I should probably forget about her.

Yesterday I sent her a text telling her I was going to Europe and she finally responded last night all excited asking how long I'm staying.

(Btw, even days when she was at home, it would take a day for a response) she has an iphone too.

She doesn't know if I read it btw, I have that feature off. Again she asked how long I'm staying in Europe and the text looks like she's excited because she put oh my god with a bunch of exclamation marks.

Should I text her THIS?: "I will tell you how long I'm in Europe if you reply faster."

Okay if you want ANY chance with her do not send her that. I'm a teenage girl and know how id respond? 'MAybe if you weren't such a douch* I would reply faster'. Most girls (me not being one of them my phone is my baby) don't respond to texts I know half my friends find texting inpersonal. And texting you can easily read into things. My personal opinion forget about her. It seems like it won't work out unless you wanna have a long distance relationship which can work totally your choice tho!

Hey it's me again, you chose me as best answer on one of your other questions and said i was funny LOL thanks for that anyway.I'm not sure about that text you want to send her, i mean unless you wanna put a: p or any teasing emoticon after it, it would be fine. So that she wouldn't take it as you're being serious and want to start up a fight or drama anything like that. So yeah either put a: p. Or just tell her about your European trip and if she doesn't respond faster, forget about her. I know i have said it in my previous answer and you don't seem to be forgetting about her. But please just try: D that IF you tell her about your trip and she takes long to reply.other than that, if you do text her that you would tell her if she replies faster, i'm thinking she'll explain to you why she's busy or anything. If she sounds sincere, keep her i guess haha
