What would you do if you found an unlocked iPhone?

Would you go through their texts, and photos? I lost mine a while ago, and somebody went through all of my messages and got me suspended from school. So I'm just wondering what other people would have done, if in that situation?

Added (1). Oh, being the curious person I'm I might stalk someone and go through all of their personal stuff, because I'm just a terrible person haha. BUT I would try my best to return the phone to them.

Delete all data on the phone and keep it

I would leave it alone.

If I found it in school, I probably would've taken it to the main office before even checking to see if it was unlocked.

Use it for methamphetamine production

I would probably look through the phone, but I wouldn't go to the extreme of tattling on the owner of the phone, unless you were like planning to kill someone.

I would go through it only to find out how to return it. I wouldn't bother looking at pics though

I'd find the nearest lost-and-found or cop shop and make it someone elses problem.

I would skim throught the phone a little bit, but not word for word. Then I would turn the phone into the lost and found.

Take it to the pawn shop.

Geez, you must of have some some pretty dark sh*t for it to get you get suspended from school… But anyway i would probably try and return it to the owner.

I would erase everything and reset it and sell it. But I wouldn't go through the photos or texts cause I think it's weird and creepy._.

Well that's sux:\ should have told the principal what happened, normally people tend to lose they "other phones " than a blackberry because everyone with a blackberry is always on bbm no time to rest the phone down to do anything while others with different cool phones would put it down for a bit to get stuff down.

Most people would just delate it all and try to sell the phone to make a profit you need to be extra evil to want to suspend something

Find the number, bury it under some dirt, text it, and see who finds it.

1. Go through all texts, photos, and internet history
2. Use it mock said person should I find anything embarrassing
3. Erase all data
4. Attempt to sell it
5. If attempt is unsuccessful, use it as a secondary drug dealing phone.

Look through their texts, and text people in their contacts saying i love you, or meet me at Pizza Hut or something.

If it were me, I would call 1 number from its contact list and try to return the phone to its owner. Because the previous owner may installed an anti-theft app on it so that he or she can track the lost phone. As I know, many people apply anti-theft apps like Find My Phone or ilostfinder on their phones nowadays.
