What's the cheapest att data plan?

Say if i got five iphone 4, for my family. What will be the cheapest data plan and texting and voice plans i can get? I tried to look on the website but it didn't help me. I heard the cheapest i could pay is 20 dollars a month for internet. But i also heard we could all share like 1 gb. Its just hard to upgrade when att limits the non smart phones a consumer can buy.

The trouble I think you will run into running any sort of a smart phone is that you will have it automatically trying to access data networks running up your usage. 1 gb of data should work fine as long as all five lines actively try to not use any data services including email. This might work fine as you can use Wi-Fi networks when available. What it looks like is, if you have a data share plan, you have to buy the plan first (Mobile Share 1GB with Unlimited Talk & Text is $40), then you pay $45 for each additional phone you add to it. This means you will pay $40+$45x5=$265 each month.

To give you another thing to think about, if you use the new $49 plan by Solavei (I'm a member), you will pay $49x5=$245, and you will get a $20 check back each month for having 4 or more lines. With this plan as well, your problems of managing your data will be gone as each individual family member will have unlimited data usage with up to 4G data speeds available depending on local networks (if you have T-Mobile, you can use Solavei). Over one year, ATT will cost you $3, 180. Solavei will cost you only $2, 700. Not sure about you, but I could use that money.
