What's the difference between an iphone an a ipod touch?

You can talk n text on both so what's the difference?

One has touch

One needs wi-fi, one can have 3G.
One is fat one is not.

I didn't think you could connect to mobile networks with an ipod touch. Only Wi-Fi. Maybe I'm wrong

One is an actual phone, one is not.

They are actually very different. IPhones can text anywhere, but iPod touches can only text over Wi-Fi. IPhones have LTE (Wi-Fi everywhere.) They are the same price to buy, but an iPhone will set you back forty bucks a month. So really, it depends if you have the money. If you have the money, defiantly get the iPhone. Otherwise, go with the iPod

The iPod touch for talk would be using VoIP & 'text' would be I'm (instant message), so there's a difference. Without internet access the iPod touch can't do neither, unlike the iPhone which of course can & also can use 3G/4G networks where Wi-Fi isn't available.

Usually the iPhone has the better camera & display technology.

One thing they have in common is that both are capable of using the internet.

… Which is more than can be said for you. This same question has already been asked thousands of times.
