What's wrong with my computer?
This only started happening about 4 days ago, and i don't know why, i have checked to see if java, adobe, and my browsers were updated and they all are. What happens is, when i watch a video, if i click ANYWHERE on that page, the video rewinds, and keeps doing it no matter what. I can't skip to where i was in the video, or anything, the play button won't even change! And when i go to try and clear the cache or cookies, the computer just scrolls through all o the options at, and keeps doing it, and i can't stop it, and it does it so quickly, i can't clear the cache. Even when i try to move a sticky not on my desktop, the computer freaks out and everything shake and moves and glitches to somewhere else on that page. I should mention that sometimes when i start up my computer, apparently it make a loud beeping noise (kinda like the "ALERT" sound on an iphone) i want to know if this is something i can fix by changing one thing with my computer, or if its something different. I've had my computer for 6 years now (on the outside its in great shape)
Start by reinstalling Flash or whatever is running the videos. Install the latest drivers for your hardware - there's a program called Drive Booster which will find/install the latest drivers. Also update your system to the latest version of the BIOS.
As far as the "alert" sound, that could be a beep code from the motherboard/BIOS. Make note of the exact sequence (how many long/short/in what order). Then you can search for your BIOS (such as AMI, etc.,) and "beep codes" to see what they might mean.
One thing I would suggest would be to disconnect power (and probably all other cables) from the computer, open the case and clean it out using canned air. You should probably do this outside. Once the machine is clean of dust and debris, with the case still open plug in power and turn it on. Check to make sure all of the fans are spinning properly. Any that don't spin should be replaced.
You have had this machine for 6 years… So you probably have a bunch of important documents, pictures, videos, etc., stored on it… And nowhere else. Uncommon sense says that you should never have all your files on a single piece of media or device, you should always have it stored on at least two different drives/storage areas. Failure of your hard drive is a very real probability at this point. Do it now before you lose everything. Also, if this is an OEM computer, you probably don't have the factory restore disks… There should be a utility on the hard drive to create a set of DVDs for this purpose. Most computers in this time frame don't come with restore disks, you have to make them yourself. If you want more disk space, you could purchase a new drive. A 1TB drive these days can be had for as little as $40, if you look around enough (pricewatch.com is a great source). Then clone your old drive to the new. If you leave the old drive in the computer you could then use it as a backup drive. A better option might be to put it in an external drive caddy. This protects it from anything that might happen to the computer itself and makes it useful as a portable drive.
- What is wrong with my computer? I just opened up my computer and no outside sources (other than my SD card) is working! This includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and my iPhone. The Windows 7 Aero theme is gone as well, and the speed has decreased. If you know to fix this, please help! Please note, I didn't enter safe mode manually, and restarting the computer does nothing.

- Is there something wrong with my phone or is there something wrong with my mom's phone? Ok so when I attempt to call my mom, it doesn't ring it just goes straight to voicemail but doesn't show on my mom's phone that she had a missed called. My messages won't go through either, but her calls and messages come through to me. We both have iPhones and they are both on. I can text everyone else, call everyone else but her.
- If i sync my iPhone to my computer will it take my photos off my phone and put them on the computer? I need to have my phone synced for the app zedge but i don't want my photos to be taken off my phone. There's this bar and on it it says photos, app, ect. And next to it is a little button that says sync. So IIm guessing it will take my photos. But i don't want that to happen but i need to sync my phone. Is there anyway i can do it without having my pictures going on to the computer?
