Whatsapp doesn't display last seen time stamp?
My Whatsapp application doesn't display the "last seen" time stamp. It shown when someone is online but then doesn't display the "last seen" time.
Does anybody else have the same problem?
:(
I use whatsapp for iphone.
OMG SAME except mines on an android not iphone! I've asked too so if you get an answer please can you answer mine too and i'll do the same for you
Same problem. Not sure if it's a temporary problem or whatsapp is changing its features.

Same here… Happened a few hours ago. I hope its just a temporary thing. Hopefully whatsapp realise that this feature is what makes it stands out from all the other chat apps out there.
I wouldnt want to text a friend in the wee houyrs of the morning not knowing whether he is asleep or not.
Same issue
So don't worry: D
SAME THING.
I'm using an HTC- I've never, ever experienced this problem.
Earlier today I updated my Whatsapp, but everything seemed fine. Later, I checked and I was unable to see when my contacts were last online: (
This is the main feature that attracted me to Whatsapp (:
Hope it will be resolved soon.
EDIT - It's WORKING AGAIN: D
IIm having the same problem guys. Can anyone confirm if it happened to them in past and that it was automatically resolved? I guess this is whatsapp technical problem and that its fixed soon. I really need this feature. IIm on galaxy s
Edit:
One person said its working again. Is it really working again guys?
Yep same here on Galaxy S1
*edit* to the person above: nope, it's still not working here
*edit 2* it works now! Just got a whatsapp message from somebody and now it works again, not sure if receiving that message has anything to do with it.
*edit 3* and it's gone again… They're obviously still having system problems
I encountered this same problem today. I thought something was wrong with my phone. But I have 2 phones (S2 and BB), and on both I couldnt see the "Last seen". I did a search and I found this:
http://emagin8.com.au/2012/hiding-whatsapp-last-seen-timestamp
Also read the highlighted text in red.
I don't like this new feature at all.
*edit* IT IS BACK!
DON't worry
Follow these step:
1: setting>>date-time>> change the date to be tomorow
2: Whatsapp>>setting>>chat setting>> advanced>> change the last timestamp from ON to OFF
3: setting>> date-time>>> set the right date for today
4: go back to Whatsapp>> setting>>chat setting>> advanced>> change the bottom to ON
I have the same problem… Help me please how to turn it back on. So I could see the last seen time stamp of all my contacts?
Same problem in my iphone. I have followed the steps suggested by Aaren and it works again.
- Whatsapp last seen timestamp not showing? The last seen timestamp isn't showing for anyone i know it doesn't show if the person has blocked you but thats not the case. I have tried turning my phone off and on any other ideas to fix it. (iPhone btw)
- Whatsapp keeps decreasing display picture quality? Images that used to be displayed just fine are now displayed in low quality even though they are square fit. It decreases the quality of any image I set as display picture this never used to happen before. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling what's app as some recommended but it did nothing. And apparently I'm the only one in my corcle who has this issue. Some suggested to clear the app data but I don't know how to do that on iPhone. Any suggestions to fix this?
- What's the longest amount of time you have seen or heard of an iphone 6 plus disabling? Like you know when you put the wrong password on the lock screen and it says disabled, how long have you seen i guess any apple product disable?
- We know that if a smartphone has more than 300 pixels per inch, it is a retina display. How much ppi it need to be a super retina display? It is said that human retina can distinguish pixels and letters in screen seem broken if ppi is below 300. If ppi is above 300, how high the ppi may be, it looks same for human eye, then why iPhone has 458 pixels in iPhone x?
