Whatsapp in iPhone isn't working. Just shows connecting?

I've even using Whatsapp on my iPhone 4S for months and today all of a sudden it is just not connecting. It's shows it's connecting but I'm unable to send or receive Msg because it ain't connecting. Usually it says connecting and connects in 3-4 seconds so I can MSG people but now it's not working. My internet is working well and I've also tried restarting my phone. Didn't help.
Please someone help.

Everyone is having same problem it might be some update service or server down.

The system is down world wide. Its not your phone, its the system at there place thats not functioning correctly.

I'm having the same issue today as well. Hopefully they get their service working again soon.

As lm sure you know Facebook bought Whatsapp, so they are making changes and it will update soon.
It's happening worldwide.

  • Whatsapp keeps saying 'connecting' when i'm connected? I've tried turning on and off my Wi-Fi, turning on airplane mode and then back on, i rebooted my iphone 2 times, i even deleted the app and reinstalled it! My Wi-Fi is working perfectly fine, and even when i turn it off and try using my 3g vodafone internet it still doesn't work! What do i do?!
  • My whatsapp isn't working after i used it for 3 months? OK. This is for my friend. She has an iPhone 4s and a contract.virgin media. She has used whatsapp for 3 months and then it suddenly stopped. What can she do or i do to at least help her out?
  • My old iPhone 5c won't turn on even though it was working fine a month ago and has just been in a drawer since. How can I get it working? I upgraded my iPhone a month ago and have been experiencing problems so I need to get it fixed. It will be weeks until I get it back so I decided I d use my old iPhone 5c until then. But I can't turn it on, it was working fine last time I used it a mo th ago. I tried charging for hours and hours and holding sleep and home buttons etc and it still won't come on. My charger is fine. How can I turn it on?
