When are updates due to stop for the iPhone 4S?
I'm looking at getting an iPhone 4S on a 2-year contract soon. However, now the iPhone 5 is out I know that they stop updates on the older iPhone devices, e.g. The iPhone 3G(s) can no longer receive a lot of the new updates.
If I get the 4S on a 2-year contract will the updates etc.stop within this time?
I think Apple generally drops support for its products after 5 years.

I changed the date to this day 5 years ago so I could extend my spotify premium trial (this actually works) but then me texts weren't sending or receiving same with BBM and Facebook and literally every other social network app and I couldn't connect to the App Store so I changed it back to auto and everything works but I want to stay on my spotify free trial please help
- My Iphone 4 isn't responding due to water damage? 2 days ago my iphone got a little wet. I just wiped it off & continued using it. Within a few minutes the screen went black & it vibrated once. Know I can't even get it to respond/turn on. Any Help? Already tried drying it out btw
- Lost space due to iPhone restore? I recently restored my iPhone 4 from backup and I noticed that it wiped out my computer's space clean. I went from having 6GB free to 202MB free space. I want to know, how can I get this space back. I'm on a PC not a Mac. Thank you. Do I Really need to delete the backup for this?
- Lost contacts on iPhone 4 due to iCloud? So I just got a new IPhone 4 and have the same iCloud acount as my mum. So all her contacts were automatically put on my phone so I deleated those contacts not knowing it would wipe out my mums contact list! She doesn't have a back up on her iPhone so what should I do to get them back?
