When creating a message on an iPhone, what does the blue chat bubble thing mean?
Whenever I'm sending a message, like creating one, and I type in a person, sometimes a blue chat bubble will come up. What does that mean?
If it's blue then the other person has an iPhone 4, 4s or 5. If it's green, the person has an iphone 3g or 3gs or has a different phone all together (samsung, htc, blackberry, etc).
It's iMessage, it's like BBM but between iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch
The phone is another apple product older than 3G. This is iMessage the free messaging service that lets iPod users text you without spamming you email!
- Why is my Iphone 3G texting bubble blue? I have a jailbroken iphone running on ios 4.2.1 and somehow my texting bubble is blue? Does that mean i'm using imessage or is that the old color for the iphone 3G? Imreally not sure and i would like to know because using imessage would be terrific!
- Why aren't my iMessages in a blue bubble? Usually when iMessaging/texting somebody else with an iPhone, your messages are in a blue bubble. I have a friend who also has an iPhone, but when I text her my messages aren't in blue. Is there a reason for that?
- What does this mean on iphone chat? This will sound like a dumb question, but For my iphone chat, my messages are in grey, and the person i text is in green. My last text, showed up as a "blue cloud" for a message as opposed to grey. What does this mean? Did my friend get my text (he hasn't responded, granted it could be just him).
- What does this mean: Free Msg: Receiver unable to receive message - Message Blocking is active mean on iPhone's iMessage? I tried sending my friend a text and it replied with this. We haven't gotten into any fights and we hung out for hours recently. Has she blocked me?
