When i connect my iPhone to my laptop it doesn't do anything?

When i connect my iPhone 5c to my laptop by the USB it goes straight to itunes and nothing happens. I can't find my iphone anywhere on my laptop but it charges when it is plugged in. I want to transfer pictures from my phone to my laptop. I have done it in the past and it has worked so i don't know what is wrong with it now.

I had the same problem. This is what I did. Plug in your phone and get Itunes to open like it always does. Now click the eject button for your phone in Itunes. Itunes will stop syncing to your phone (or whatever else it was doing). Now you can access your phone and pictures by going to My Computer (where all your files are).

  • WHY DOESN't ANYTHING WORK RIGHT? My iphone 4s, was fast now struggles with apps. My internet was fast and then it turns slow as ***. My computer turned slow and freezes and I only use it for homework and research. Netflix keeps stopping and loading. I have to press the power button on my ps3 more than once for it to start up. Sometimes my Ps3 or xbox doesn't sign me in on the network. WHY WON't TECHNOLOGY *** DO WHAT ITS SUPPOSE TO DO!
  • One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
  • My Wi-Fi won't connect on my laptop but will connect to my other devices (an iPhone and iPad)? I have a MacBook Air. Sometimes it does connect but other times it just won't. It takes ages connecting and then in the end comes up with the exclamation mark or is just blank. Is this a problem with my laptop? I've tried researching the problem but have found nothing.
  • My iPhone says I have one unread message, but doesn't show anything? It says I have one unread message but when I click on it, it show nothing. Like none of my messages show up. Period. And after I look at a blank screen for a few minutes it just goes back to the home screen.
