When I'm in safari on my iPhone it keeps opening the App Store how do I stop?

When I'm on a website it opens up the App Store to like empire: four kingdoms. It's really annoying every time I click on something and it redirects me, I tried a lot of different things but none of them have worked if you know how to fix this it would be a great help

Hi, if you're talking about direct app store links to apps in the App Store then they will never open like they will on a desktop browser, cause the App store app on the iphone handles the protocol to "direct" app store links on iOS.

If the above isn't the case, then there's pro'lly a glitch somewhere, I'd suggest a browser related solution but I'm assuming you must have tried that.

Restoring your iPhone should solve the problem. To restore your iPhone, simply create a backup of your iPhone in iTunes, then hit the "Restore" button in the "Devices" tab and your iPhone should start to restore to its factory settings, you should choose to "restore from the backup" you created earlier to have your iPhone's files, data, and settings back to the way it was before you did a restore.

I know this is late, but here's the thing. Mobile Safari opening the AppStore is a "feature". It's meant to redirect you from an App preview page to the corresponding AppStore page. Of course Apple, in all its glorious and profound reason, must not have realized how exploitable this is. So now the Net is bloated with ads that cause mobile Safari to open that ads program in the AppStore. The only way I've found to prevent this is to install AdBlocker on a Jailbroken phone.

It seems it only happens when jm browsing through the fb app. Every time I open a link, after 10 seconds of being on this page through fb the App Store then opens and it's always the same app asking to be installed.
