When to charge a iphone 4s battery?

What the best way to maximise the battery life by letting it drain right down low and then charge it full or charge it when ever and what ever the level is at.

If you keep letting it go all the way dead it will damage the battery and so will leaving it on the charger when it's at 100%. When it's at 100% take it off. Also to make it charge faster exit out of all apps that are running in the background and turn the screen brightness all the way down.

Here's a few things I use to help my phone battery die slower:
1. I usually keep the brightness down. Most of the time if I'm leaving the screen on just for music from youtube I would turn the brightness all the way down.
2. Turn off Wi-Fi if you're not using it. If you're on the road and you don't have Wi-Fi (meaning your phone is using cellular data) turn the Wi-Fi off.
3. Turn on airplane mode whenever you can. Having airplane mode on means that your phone works like an iPod touch. It won't make or receive calls, same with SMS messages. However, this really saves my battery. For me, during the average school day, my phone battery would go from 90 to dead by the end of the day. But with airplane mode on it doesn't get much lower than 85. This is mostly useful for if you're not waiting for any calls. Airplane mode is a life saver.
These 3 battery savers can all be activated in settings. Hope I've helped!

Lithium ion battery--not Nicad. Best to charge usually right below 20 and up. Install an app to help you fully charge and not constantly overcharge for longer life span.
Battery techniques to save energy during the day too…
Best luck.
