When you turn your iPhone on does it take a while to get your texts?
I had my iPhone off for a couple hours and I turned it back on and I haven't gotten any messages. Does it take a few minutes?
Yes but not a long time maybe 5 minutes.
For me they usually come in within the first 30 seconds but its possible that the phone could be still connecting
It actually take less than a minute. If you didn't get any messages after you turned it on, it means that no one texted you.
Wait about 5 minutes and if nothing comes through you may not have any…
Most phones do that, it's a service thing
- Why does my iphone take so long to turn on while charging? I have the IPhone 4s, and I have had it for almost 2 years now and i have an upgrade in September but i have a lot of problems right now. My phone dies CONSTANTLY. It dies at 60, 70, 80, 90, even 100% sometimes & on the rare occasions when it does die at a low percentage, it can take anywhere from 2-9 hours to turn on. I just wanted to know if there was a way i can get my IPhone to turn on while charging, I really need help, this happens to much and I'll try anything!

I asked my brother to text me right when I started restoring and updating my iphone, and it said it's going to take 2 hours because my laptop sucks. If I don't receive my bro's text when it's done, how can I get back all the texts I received while it was updating and restoring?
- Is it true if you use an iPhone (or any phone) while charging you'll get electrocuted? Its what my mum, my dad, my auntie, my uncle, my grandpa, my grandma all keep telling me everytime they see me do it. They're not even joking. I get screamed at for doing it.
