When will the iPhone 5 officially be out of stores?
I want to buy the iPhone 5 before they take them out of stores. I don't like how the 5c is plastic and I want a black phone. Also I don't want to spend a lot on the 5s.
IPhone 5s will be in stores sept. 20, 2013. Gold, black and white.
It will probably be in stores for a while. But it would be a lot cheaper. Carriers will prob be offering it in a couple of months for very cheap. Look at the iphone 4 apple considers it a legacy device in today's standards and you can get it for.99 cents. That's the same thing that is going to happen with the iphone 5.
When they run out of stock. The carriers had to buy them from Apple and take a loss so those are owned by the carriers. The ones at the Apple retail stores may be shipped back to Apple to use as Apple replacement phone for the people who currently have the iphone 5.
Well since they were discontinued its just a matter of selling of existing stock. Once they are gone, that's it.
There's no set date of that happening of course.
Get it before Sept 20 if you want it on contract. If you don't need it with contract, you can find it outside at much cheaper price and will be available for next couple of months. If you need iPhone 5 without contract cheaper than retail, mail me.
- Will there be iPhone 5's still available at Verizon stores on Saturday? Or will they all be sold out within the first few hours tomorrow? I'm not in NYC, or any big place like that.
- When will the new iPhone 6 Phablet come out in stores? Rumours say that the new iPhone 6 phablet will be a phone/tablet. How is this possible? The new mobile os: IOS 8 is definitely going to come out this fall.
