When will the Verizon iPhone 5's ship?

I ordered the Verizon iPhone 5 at 6 in the morning on Friday, before they pushed pack the shipping date. My expected delivery date is the 21st of this month. When will they start the shipping process?

They will start the shipping process around Thursday. If you ordered your IPhone 5 at 6:00am in the morning you should be good to go, and receive your IPhone Friday the 21st.

Honestly, I think they are so backed up right now it is hard to tell. I too ordered my on Friday and every time I check the order status it just says being shipped 9/21.To date, my credit card also has not been charged. Figuring I would have better luck just going to the stores on Friday I called customer service to cancel my preorder. She said she could not do so because it was being prepared to ship. According to her I could have it before Friday ( or worst case Tuesday). Long story short I think due to the amount of orders I think they are having trouble keeping customers updated. I would say if you do not receive a shipping confirmation by Wednesday ( and as per the rep) you will not receive it by Friday. Verizon is very good about having phones ( that are in stock) shipped in two days. Just my experience from the Iphone 4 ( among others).

I ordered mine at 3:30am and had a shipping date of the 21st. They charged my card this morning and the tracking information is being updated so I'm assuming it's shipping today.
