When will tmobile 1700 MHz 3G refarming be complete?

I'm currently using an iPhone 4 32gb on tmobile and I'm about to get the iPhone 5, when I first got my iPhone a few months back, 3G on my phone never actually occurred unless I was traveling pretty far, but now (in toms river New Jersey) I get 3G in about half of my town. All o a sudden these towers were refarmed about 2 months ago and then they just stopped, worst part is, there's only the 3G for iPhones on tmobile in the Half of town I barely venture to. So I still spend most of my time on edge (2g) when will the tmobile refarming be fully complete? Also, are they ever going to update the other half of the towers which would affect me the most, I mean, why wouldn't they just completely finish a town if Ty are already working on it.

Why don't you just wait until T-Mobile begins selling the iPhone, which should be occurring later this month? Then you get the phone directly from them and it's no longer an issue.

And they're not refarming 1700Mhz. They're refarming 2G/EDGE 1900Mhz bandwidth, because that's what the AT&T iPhones use. 1700 Mhz is part of T-Mobiles AWS (with 2100 Mhz) for the HSPA+. That won't work with the iPhones.
