When you delete a contact on an iPhone does the messages automatically go with it?
I told my boyfriend to delete this girl he was talking to and when I asked to see the messages he told me they automatically delete with the contact
No that's not true, all you have to do is hook the I-phone up to the computer and delete system 32 and all the messages this cheating skank sent your boyfriend will flow in like a desert.

No, the messages do not automatically delete with the contact. When a contact is deleted from any phone, the name will no long show up but the number will in place of it. Unless he actually deletes the messages, they will still be in his phone.
This is a lie, if you delete the contact you still have the messages but instead of coming up with the persons name it'd just say their number above the messages

- How do you delete a contact on the new iPhone 5C So I got the new iPhone 5C today, and for some reason, both my facebook and iCloud just linked all my friends' contacts to my phone's contacts, and I have no idea how to delete them. I clicked edit on the person in the contacts, scrolled down to unlink and delete contact, and clicked "done" but when I went back, the contact was still there. HOW DO I DO THIS!
