When you get a new iPhone, do you get a new IP address?

When you get a new iPhone, do you get a new IP address? Or do you have to get a new number?
Is there any way to change your IP address?

And if the IP address address has to do with the Wi-Fi, does that mean there's a different IP address?

Hopefully someone gets all the questions I'm asking lol I'm just confused

No your IP address stays the same

You have no control over the IP address

Your cellular IP address is static, meaning it never changes… The only way to get a new IP is to get a new phone…

not, on Wi-Fi, your IP address is either dynamic or static (changes ot doesn't change) based on your wireless router settings… If your router is set to dynamic, then your Wi-Fi IP will constantly change… IF its set to static, the your IP will always be the same… To change your Wi-Fi ip, reboot the phone and router… Or make a static IP in the router

LOL, you do not get a specific IP address with your cell phone. (you do get a MAC address). You get an IP address depending on what router you attach to. If you are in your own home, typically your home router will dispense to your device an IP address when the phone asks for one. If you attach to another router, let's say at HOME DEPOT, their router will dispense another IP address that might be completely different. You cell phone service provider, when you are attached to the cellular network, will ALSO give you a new IP address when you are not talking with a Wi-Fi router. In other words, you are dynamically receiving a new IP address All the TIME.
