When you put a new SIM card in an iPhone 3s does it reset everything?
My mum and dad have given my old 3s to a person that works for them and I was just wondering if it will reset everything with a new sim and different computer? I need to know As soon as possible. Xo
No, it doesn't. But just to be sure, back up your phone on itunes before changing your SIM card and then restore your phone from the backup if anything went wrong.
No, new sim card won't make a difference to the phone content

Its called the 3GS & no. A different SIM will do nothing to the phone.
- Will my iPhone factory reset if I put a different company SIM card in it to see if it works I got a sprint iPhone 5c and used it on the boost mobile network. Now I got a new phone because I hated the boost network and switched over to metro pcs. A couple days ago I put the metro pcs sim card in the iPhone and it went to the opening screen like it reset everything. So I took it out and just put the boost sim card back in it and it went back to normal. If I put the metro pcs sim card in the iPhone will it reset everything because I don't want to lose everything on my iPhone.
- When I set up a new iphone and reset everything, does it erase cellular data too? I got a Sprint 3G on my iPhone and I want to reset it. If I reset everything, does it erase the Cellular data with Sprint 3G too. Please I need to know so I can set up as new iPhone by using iTunes on the computer.
- If I restore/reset iphone 6s will sim card info be removed with factory reset? Got this iphone and I know someone who wants to buy it off me, should i leave the sim card? Will erased if i factory reset the phone?
- If I put my old SIM card into my new iPhone will everything still remain the same? I just want my number to stay the same and my tariff/package that I pay for every month to stay the same? Need a bit advice, I currently have an iPhone 6s at the moment. I'm not too fussed about keeping all my photos etc cos tbh most of them are on Facebook but as long as my number and monthly package stays the same that's all I'm bothered about
