When you schedule a pickup from USPS, do they bring a box?
I'm scheduling a pickup from USPS to ship my iPhone 5s out, it will be sending Express Mail. How much will it cost to ship?
You have to go the post office and get the box or order it separately. I suggest using priority mail. You get two day delivery and it is a lot cheaper.
When you ask for pickup, your package must be ready to go, including proper postage. Otherwise, you take it to the counter at the post office. Rates are listed on USPS.com. You can order boxes delivered to you for free, but you get a bundle, usually 25, not just one, and they won't arrive quickly. For just a few boxes you need to get them in the lobby at the post office.
When you schedule a pick up, it is for packages that are completely ready to go. That means they are packed, sealed and correct pre-paid postage labels are on them.
Do NOT try to schedule a pick up. Go to the post office and get the box and information you need. No one at this end can tell you exactly how much it will cost.
- Turned a fedex label into a USPS box at my post office? I sent my iPhone in for warranty, and I have no info on tracking. All I have is shipment info sent to fedex. It's a USPS post office. First, do I get priority over other people who didn't preorder the phone? If not, what are the benefits of preordering anyway? What wait times should I expect (as someone who preordered it)?
