Where are photos stored while importing with iPhoto?
I was importing pics of a mates iPhone but an error occurred halfway through each time saying some jargon but i could see a lot were successfully imported before that happened and i'm wondering where they are stored as i can't see them in iPhoto anywhere or its folder through finder. Is there a temp folder they go first? Should i do a "rebuild"?
I don't know
They will be in the iPhoto library. Right click on the iPhoto Library icon and select Show Package Contents. Open the Originals folder and dig down through the folders in there. The pictures should be in there even if they did not get added to the iPhoto database and so do not appear in iPhoto itself.

- Where are my iphone photos stored in my PC? I once accidentally came across folders within Windows which contained old photos from my iphone which must have synced with my PC when I connected my phone to my PC / i-tunes. I can't find these folders now. I know how to get to App data > Mobile Sync > Roaming > backup. However, the photos aren't there to open. They are strange looking files which you can't do much with.
- Photos going to dropbox instead of iphoto? Since my sister downloaded Dropbox on my Mac, whenever I connect my iphone to my Mac, it automatically transfers the photos to dropbox instead of iphoto. It just won't upload it to iphoto. What happened?
