Where can I find a reliable place to get an inexpensive, used iPhone 4S?
My phone fell in a pool today, and I have a BlackBerry so I can either pay the $100 for a replacement or (the preferable option) try to find an inexpensive, used, Verizon iPhone 4S. I realize that finding one that's inexpensive AND works well is a longshot, but it's a shot I'm willing to take. I'm looking for a Verizon iPhone 4S without a contract for $100 or less. It can be cracked or whatever, and it doesn't matter if it's black or white or how many Gigs it has, as long as the service still works when activated. So any help would be appreciated!
Your best bet would be to look on craigslist or ebay, but your looking at spending anywhere from $200-$300 dollars. The only way to find them for less than that is to:
1.buy a phone with a bad esn (stolen or didn't pay the bill)
2.buy a damaged phone and try to fix it
Both of those options are not the most attractive, but it may allow you to get a phone for less. Those are the only ways that I know for the public to get a iPhone for cheap. Finding an iPhone for $100 or less will take time, and persistence. If you wait you may find someone that needs the money, and is willing to sell it for cheap. You can use both sites to double your efforts.
