If you want to use its functions but not as a phone, you'll have to purchase factory unlocked from apple for around $1000. If you don't mind it being locked to a phone company, it'll be around $800 online (eBay, Amazon, etc.) If you want to use it as a phone, you can purchase it from your local apple store or on online for $199 + coverage every month.
Depends on if you want it on a two year plan or not. Best Buy seems to have nice deals.
