Where can I get my broken iPhone 5S fixed?
My iPhone had gotten water damage a few days ago so I tried to fix the problem myself by opening it up but then quickly put it back together seeing how complicated it was. Now I can't have Apple repair it because it's gotten "tampered" with. So now I need to know if I can get it fixed for cheap anywhere else!
Have you heard of the rice trick?
Put your iphone in an airtight Baggie with dry rice and leave it like that for about an entire day. The rice will absorb any left over water in your iphone and hopefully fix it after you've waited the full day or two.
If that doesn't work and you aren't intent on fixing it yourself, it'll be up to you to see if you can find any place locally that will repair it at a price you're ok with.
Very true, once a device has been opened by someone other than Apple it is no longer covered by the warranty. However, the warranty was void before you started trying to fix the problem. Liquid damage is what we consider accidental damage and accidental damage is not covered by the warranty since technically, the problem is the result of user error.
None of that really matters at this point though. Your device is beyond economical repair meaning it would cost more to fix the devie than it would to just replace it. Out of Warranty Replacement cost for a 5s is $249
- Where can I go get my iPhone fixed? It fell in the toilet. Can it be fixed? I already put it in a bowl of rice for like 60 hours & now I'm going to try to turn it on but I doubt it will turn on. So if it doesn't where can I go get it fixed?

- When I get my iphone fixed can I get it in a different color? So my screen is cracked (please no comments about where to get it fixed cause i'm sending it into T-Mobile) so when I send it in can I get it switched to space grey? I have the iPhone 5s if that helps
