I recently bought an iphone 4s off one of my friends, its a verizon phone but i have an at&t sim card, when i pit my sim card in it says ita not vails, i called at&t to unlock it and they said to call verizon so i called verizon and they told me they can't do it either, i need this phone unlocked i just don't know were to go.

Carrier does not care. You're not the original owner so they will not give you the time of day. Verizon uses CDMA and ATT uses GSM. You will have to buy or troll for unlock software and do it yourself. Some require some coin, others require surveys to get the code. 50/50 that they are legit or shady. Best luck.
