Where can I repair my iPhone 5?

I live in the UK. England. I have had the phone since it came out late September last year. The charger started to not work and then it broke so I got another one, this time not an apple one. That broke too so I used an adapter which also broke about a month later. I would just put it into the phone and it would do nothing. I got another adapter and it didn't work either. I just let my phone die out and it's been dead for a few days now. I took it into apple and they said they would give me a new one but I really don't want another one I have so much stuff on there that I want to keep and I haven't backed one thing onto iCloud. I want all my texts and call records back too. It sound stupid nit wanting a new phone but i love the one i have now even though its exactly the same. I know it's not the dodgy chargers because the people at apple tried and it didn't work. I often take my phone in the shower and I think the steam might have messed it up or something. Does any one know where I can fix it? Or if I possibly can? Do I just have to get a new one?

Get a new one

It would honestly be cheaper to buy a new iPhone than to fix it. I sometimes have an ugly habit of leaving my iphone 5 in the bathroom while showering. My phone even fell in the freezer and I didn't know so it was in there for at least an hour. Dumb I know. My phone still works lol. Maybe it's because I have an otter box i don't know.

  • Can you repair an iPhone 5S with an iPhone 5 screen? I have an iPhone 5 digitizer / LCD assembly and I was wondering if I could fit it onto a 5S. Would it also fix the 5C? I'm not sure as to the differences in the parts.
  • Can you repair a broken iPhone screen without replacing it? I have an iPhone 4, and it has a very small crack in it. It isn't really impacting the phone at all, but if my parents see it i'll be in a lot of trouble. Since it's not a crack serious enough to need to completely replace the screen, s it possible to fix the crack? I know you can fix scratches in CD's with a special gel, is there anything like that for glass or touch screens? Also, if it isn't possible to fix it instead of replaceing it, could you explain why?
