Where do random lost property go?
Example, if a bunch of kids were play fighting and one of their iPhones fell underneath the car behind the tire and they never found it. Where do i hand it in to? I was thinking the police station or the council.
Why hand it in?! Gadgets is money nowadays, the kid has learnt his/her lesson, he/she will be fine cos the parents will forgive and buy a new one.
Hopefully you'd be better off under the tires of that car when it backs up.

Check with the police station first to see if it was picked up as evidence. Then if it's not there you'd have contact your public works to see if a bin man turned it in. If you live in a place with mechanized street sweeping it was probably picked up and crushed by the machine.
It's a police matter. Hand it in to the police station. IF, that is, there's actually one still open anywhere near you.
