Where do stores buy electronics in bulk?

I'm just wondering where popular stores such as Best Buy, Walmart, and Gamestop buy their electronics in bulk from. Is it possible for a normal US citizen to buy them so they can start their own business or sell them online. Thanks. I'm also talking about iPhones and Macbook Pros (Apple products and samsung products).

I live just miles away from Best Buys headquarters in Richfield, Minnesota, and I know many people that have worked there. According to them they buy directly from the company that manufactures the device, such as samsung. As once a month they have the sales reps from the companies to come in and negotiate a deal that Best Buy would make money on. I think if you want to start up a electronic shop you will have a tough time since best buy recently put there biggest competition out of business(circuit city) to buy an item in bulk I would try contacting a sales rep from Samsung, sony etc.

I don't know where they buy from and so do very few people. Thats why they are as big as they are, connections and negotiations. If you want to start a store and buy electronics in bulk I would look into sites like alibaba.com. Beware of scams, but alot of them are legit and you can get stuff really cheap.
