There are many websites that make a living from selling the "unlock code" so your not going to find anyone just giving them away, lets live in the real world now.
You don't have to spend lots of money, prices vary greatly, one web site will sell the codes for $30 while others sell then for $8, don't be lazy, just shop around.
Through the Google search, I didn't find free unlocking solutions for iPhone 3g.
