Where does the iPhone 3GS save SMS messages?
I'd guess to the phone memory, only I'm putting my sim in a Nokia while I fix my iPhone, and I don't want the texts to carry over. Also will any texts I receive on the Nokia carry back over to the iPhone when I put my sim back in?

- Why can't my iPhone receive SMS messages on 3G? I have a 3GS which has just started having issues with 3G connection. It refuses to receive SMS messages, but I'm able to send them. I have tried to reset network settings, turn off iMessage, restart numerous times to no avail. The only way I can make it work is to turn off 3G, turn the phone off and on which allows SMS to be received. Am I missing something obvious as to why it's having a mini meltdown?

I was just wondering if it is possible to automatically save all outgoing and incoming message right away, therefore even if i deleted the message on my iphone it is still possible to retrieve it through these automatic saves.
