Where in the uk can i get an iphone 4 home button replaced?

Mine is very unresponsive and needs fixing. How much and how long will this take if i get a store to do it?

That button in integral to the main circuit board in the phone. You don't replace the button, you replace the whole circuit board.

The iPad was known to have an issue where the button became unresponsive. The fix is to kill all running applications. Maybe you can fix it yourself by killing running applications? However, you need to get the button to work for a second or two to kill the apps. If you can't get the button to work at all, try restoring the phone via iTunes.

  • When my iPhone 6 screen is replaced by apple, will the home button be replaced as well? Ever since I updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 6, the home button has been totally unresponsive. On top of this, my phone was recently stepped on and the screen was shattered. I plan on paying the $109 to have the screen replaced from apple, but does that replace the home button too? I've heard that when the front screen panel is replaced, so is the home button/touch id.
