Where should I take my broken iPhone 4S?
The sound system on my iphone is messed up- only ringtones and Siri sounds work, not music/app/youtube/regular typing tones. Where should I bring iphone? Local BestBuy where I purchased the phone or the local apple store?
Take it to BestBuy first and check if its still under warranty or if its insurance covers that sort of damage. If it doesn't get a quote from both the apple shop and BestBuy and then go to the shop that has the cheapest quote. My guess is that BestBuy would give you a cheaper quote but its best to be safe and to check both.

Best Buy is just a national retailer… True that they do have a geek squad repair shop, but that is ONLY if you purahced Geek Squad Insurance on the iphone. If you did not do this when you got the Iphone, then apple is your only hope
- Where do I take my broken iphone for a new one? My Iphone dropped 15 ft off onto a fort while I was on vacation. I'm with sprint and it's covered under AC+ for Iphone Enrollment. I have apple care and all that but where do I take it to get a new one? Do I go to Sprint or the Apple store? Please answer.
- When apple replaces a broken iphone, do you get to keep the old broken one? The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect.
