Which camera is best for good quality zoom?
I'm seeing One Direction next year at Wembley Stadium. Obviously i will be further back and therefore I'm looking for a camera with a great zoom on it. Previously at concerts, (one direction this year) i have used my iphone camera and even though i was front row the picture still didn't come out great. I'm looking to buy a DSLR camera, ( you know the big fancy smanshy ones! ) preferably in the price range of around £200-300.It is essential the camera has amazing zoom and good quality and can work in low lighted conditions. Any help/advice is appreciated!
You are wasting your time on this! I have a quality zoom lens which cost £1, 500 which would be hard pressed to do a decent job under those conditions. And it is big!
I don't think you understand the concept of a DSLR, so I'm going to explain it to you. They're bulky, expensive, and don't come with "zoom". With that said, I love them.
DSLRs are interchangeable lens cameras, meaning that in order to have zoom, you must buy a zoom lens. A good zoom lens can cost upwards of $200 in addition to the cost of the camera ($400+). Unlike point-and-shoots, DSLRs also have trouble focussing with cheaper lenses in lower light, so with cheaper lenses they don't perform that well in the dark.
I think you'd be happier with something like the Canon Sx 260 HS (about 200 Euros). It's got great zoom, fantastic quality, it's easy to use, works well in low light, and it's much lighter. You can read about it here: http://www.appstorechronicle.com/2012/08/canon-powershot-sx260-hs-review.html
Forget it.
While you might just get a DSLR, with standard lens, for your money (there are a couple of discontinued models in that price range) - you won't be allowed to take it in.
The zoom on DSLRs is dependent on the lens fitted anyway, and the 18-55mm (3x) zoom that comes with these won't cut it.
Thank you, you have just confirmed my suspicions on the intelligence of One Direction fans.
1) You won't get a very good DSLR for £200 plus
2) You will have to buy a zoom lens for it which will be at least another £200
3) You won't be allowed to take it into a concert, so will have wasted your money.
You might be able to take in a compact so you will be better off buying one of those for £150
I think in your price range, Sony SLT-A37 is d Best DSLR you can find in market, you may have to look into this following link, to find more digital cameras which are in that price range: http://www.reviewgist.com/best-slr-digital-camera-under-500
- Why does my iPhone receive good quality videos as bad quality videos? So I recently met a famous guy in concert and when I got a picture wth him I was getting a video and my friend used her phone to video it. So she sent it to me and it was like terrible quality and the video was like little with a huge black border around it. But yet it looks perfectly fine on her phone? How do I fix it? Whenever I try to get video editing apps it always says error & only with that particular video. I have an iPhone 5c, and so does my friend.
- Which iphone should I get? Which one is the cheapest with the best picture quality? Hi, I'm looking for a phone good a great photo quality. I was looking into getting an iphone… But would anyone say there are other phones that are better? I'm hoping to buy the cheapest one and right now my options are getting the iphone 4s on a $0 plan or investing a bit more money and getting the 5c… Do you think its a good investment?
- Which camera is better: An old General Imaging x500 Digital Camera or an iPhone 7 front camera? It looks like an iPhone only offers 7 MP while this camera boasts 16 MP but this camera is so old and looks worse at least on its own screen. I'm confused
- What Zoom is best for my iPhone 5? I'm going to a music concert next week so i decided to buy myself a extra zoom for my iPhone 5 on ebay so my pictures will be able to see closer and be more clear instead of buying a camera, but as i have come to buy the zoom it has gave me 2 options, Aluminum Zoom and Optical Zoom. What is the difference and what one would be most suited for me? Hope you can help, thank you!
