Which case should I buy for my iphone 4?

I just got an iphone 4 and I'm trying to decide which case would be best for me. I have been looking primarily at the otterbox defender and commuter cases. I'm prone to dropping my phone on occasion, which causes me to lean towards the defender, but I also don't want my phone to be inconveniently large, which is a pro of the commuter. Does anyone know how well the commuter holds up against occasional drops? Which case is better? Are there other better cases out there I should be considering?

You should get a lifeproof case! Look them up, they're waterproof too! And it's not the bulk of an otterbox. They're pretty expensive, but on amazon or ebay, you can get them much cheaper. They're literally life proof. I have the pink and grey one, I recently went to the pool, and I went underwater recording with it! The touch is unresponsive when underwater, but you can still record.

Defender all the way although sometime the little cover ports for like the headphone jack can tear. Also if you research on google look up a vans case it is the vans brand shoe case it is pretty protective but back to defender case it is very protective if you are prone to dropping your phone it protects the camera and is thick enough but not to thick to protect your phone from some pretty crazy drops. But the price between the 2 is pretty big watch some reveiws online but if you drop your phone more than usual like you said defender. But deffinatly go check out some reveiws online/youtube.
