Which computer should I get for college?
I'll be going into engineering.
I've traditionally been a windows person, but I'm thinking about getting a Mac, especially since I got an iPhone about 7 months ago and I love it.
I also am thinking about getting a Windows 8 tablet/iPad, since they look cool, but i don't know if they are as capable as laptops are.
What do you think?
In my own words:
Windows is for gaming, and people with a budget. While it can do Photoshop, Vegas, and FL Studio, being a laptop, the battery will suffer, and the performance will vary computer to computer.
BOTH: Web browsing, Music / Video playback, basic stuff.
Mac OS is for professionals in the field of Music, Photo, and Video production, ect. Apple laptops usually have a great battery life compared to Windows, and performance can't vary much.
As an engineer, I'm not sure what software you'd be using, but if you have the money for a Mac, that would be the route I would take.
Most of the time Mac OS ends up having the more refined software.
Don't get a tablet and expect to use it as a laptop. Period.
Well if you have the money to get a MacBook laptop then yes get that. The windows 8 tablet is great but not as great as the MacBook or any other leading laptop. The iPad is overpriced an not for business or college. If you can't get a MacBook look into dell inspirons or hp pavilions
When it comes to doing more stuff, then laptop is the best for sure.
but if you don't want to go beyond Facebook, listening songs, playing angry birds or temple run then you can choose a tablet/i pad/ net book. All basic stuff you can say.
- Which one is the most newest iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c and which one should I get? Which one is the most newest? What different and same features do they have? I already have an iPod touch 5. Which one has the fingerprint scanner and slow motion edit video?
- Which iPhone should I get & which one is honestly the best? I have used and bought a lot of apple products but this will be my first time getting an iPhone since almost EVERYONE has one now. I really want to try. So now that the iPhone 5 came out… Which iPhone is the BEST? -iPhone 4 -iPhone 4s Or -iPhone 5? I've been hearing that iPhone 5 isn't as great as they make it seem, is that true? If it's not then should I get the iPhone 4 or 4s?

- What tablet should i buy for college? - 1 I have a Macbook Pro and an iPhone 5. That's why I was thinking of getting the iPad 5 when it comes out in the summer. But what other tablet is best for college? I was also thinking about the Galaxy Note 10.1 because of the pen… What about the Nexus 10? Powerful and cheap, but no stylus and laggy. Transformer Prime? Pretty good, I haven't heard anything horrible so far. Any other tablets?
