Which has a cheaper monthly bill? Iphone or Android?

I really want to get a smartphone and iv heard that both has pretty much equal on quality, but id prefer the cheaper one though!

They all take data plans. The plans are all the same for Iphone or Android. It just depends on how much data you want to pay for and what company you want to use. You need to check those things out with the different carriers.

It depends on what service you have

They cost about the same. Plus it depends on the carrier and the exact phone. Some droids are free with 2 year agreement and I think Verizon has the iPhone 4 free with 2 year agreement but if you want one of the really fancy expensive droids you have to pay a discounted price with a 2 year agreement.

Get a prepaid sim card and see which one accepts it (I know the andriod will). Because then you pay $10 for topups and a bit more for whatever you need but read on.

I know both have free texting and calling apps (if they're not free then they're only $2) so basically just check out their app stores to see what they have.

Personally, I know my dad has bought three android phones and they all ran out of battery quickly and don't work as well as the iphone.

  • Why does an iPhone cost so much on a monthly bill? My family has Verizon and I really want an iPhone 5, and I need to convince my dad. But when I did research it said $100 monthly. Why is that?
  • What's the Monthly Bill for an iPhone 5? I want an iPhone 5 from Sprint for Christmas and the problem is not getting one buy not knowing about how much the bill will look like per month. Yes I want to be able to use the internet and text without Wi-Fi but that's all I know. Oh and are there any free apps for the iPhone 5 or do you have to pay for all of them like my stupid cousin told me. (NOTE: I'm a little new to iPhones and I know people hate when other people post this but please post helpful and rational answers! )
  • Sprint iphone 4 monthly bill price? So i know i could have asked a sprint customer service person, but sprint is closed and i have until 8AM tomorrow to convince mom to get me one. I want an iphone 4 or a 4s. Now i have some friends in school who said their bills are in between $50 - $75. Thats the same amount as my stupid Metro PCS bill and believe me, the phone is no walk in the park. So how much really for a sprint monthly bill for an iphone
  • Is it cheaper to buy an iphone 5 out right or do a monthly plan in perth? I want to buy an Iphone 5 just broke my 4S but is it cheaper not to buy the phone out right and just go on a monthly plan to pay it off i 24 months or whatever it is or just buy it out right?
