Which internet service is suitable in India (For tourist)?
I need 24/7 internet connection to my Laptop/iPhone/Nokia… Anything. I've to check mails and do some online tasks frequently. Would stay at Kolkata and Delhi. The cheaper the better. Temporary connection. Which GSM, 2G, 3G package(s)? 1GB-2GB should be enough. Any solution please? Please don't suggest to buy a new modem.
I use Reliance 3G and am happy with that.
If you are not an Indian citizen or not a local, you may not get a sim card.
BSNL prepaid GPRS for Rs.98 per month (2 GB) is a cheap solution or Aircel pocket internet at Rs.7 per day are some schemes.
You do not need to buy a new modem. You can use your mobile phone by connecting it to the computer using a usb cable and making connection to the internet with mobile working as a modem.
As you don't wanNA go for a new modam or maybe you can't afford it

well indians are helpfull so you can easily ask your neighbours who have had already a connection (Wi-Fi) and they'll let you connect to their modem
or buy a simcard, activate your dataplan and enjoy.
