I don't want the iPhone x because it's to small for my taste. I was going to get the iPhone 8 plus but then I thought i should wait for the iPhone x plus since I have an 18 month contract. What should I get?

Most people would rather have a smaller chassis with a bigger display rather than a bigger chassis with a smaller display.
As far as the iPhone X Plus, there's no guarantee of that yet & of course it would be the better part of a year off.
